The Docent Program is a volunteer program for students age ten (10) and older. Docents learn public presentation skills and historical context while they work as educational assistants in the Upper Musselshell Historic Society museum buildings. They give tours, prepare mini-lectures on museum exhibits, work in the museum store and create window displays, among other tasks. The Program, under the guidance of former Curator Robyn Lode, began in 2008.
Ally, Mariah, and Riley have been Junior Docents since the beginning of the program.
The Upper Musselshell Historic Society welcomes and values its volunteers. We encourage new and interested people to invest their time in our Museum. Please call or come in and visit with us about offering your services and talents to the Society.
